The spatial and temporal distribution of China’s forest carbon

چکیده
Introduction China’s forests have sequestrated a significant amount of carbon over the past two decades. However, it is not clear whether will be able to continue as much sequestration potential capacity in future. Methods In order research forest storage and capacities at spatial temporal scales, we built digital model for each province China using data from The Forest Resources Report (2014– 2018) calculated with current management practices without considering natural successions. Results results showed that 10.0 Pg C, next 40 years (from year 2019 2058) 5.04 C. Since immature account majority forests, was also high (0.202 C year−1). reached maximum increase stand maturity. At this time, if scenarios such afforestation reforestation, human disturbances, succession are considered, decrease. After 90 years, all stands develop into mature over-mature 0.008 year−1; rate ~4% what nowadays. change trend consistent country. addition, large coverage area China, differences tree species growing conditions, among provinces were different. growth density high-latitude (such Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia) lower than south (Guangdong, Guangxi, or Hunan), but higher. Discussion Planning implementing targeted strategies key increasing extending service time sinks provinces. reach national neutrality goals, recommend an informative strategic plan.

Human influence on the temporal dynamics and spatial distribution of forest biomass carbon in China
Global carbon cycles are impacted by human activity primarily via fossil fuel combustion and forest carbon budget alterations. In this study, the temporal dynamics and spatial distribution of forest biomass carbon (FBC) stock and density in China were analyzed to assess the large-scale effects of humans on FBC. The results indicated that from 1977 to 2013, the FBC stock increased by 62.9%, from...

Considering the vital importance of air and the increasing trace of its contaminating factors, it is necessary to study the contaminating factors in order to be aware of the existing situation. The phenomenon of air pollution is one of the most important problems in many parts of Iran, due to several reasons, increasing the amount of it day by day. Carbon monoxide is one of the most dangerous p...

The zooplankton biomass and distribution were studied during two oceanographic cruises in NE part of the Persian Gulf in autumn 2012 (November) and summer 2013 (August) with 300 μmmesh net. Zooplankton samples were analyzed for biomass content. Zooplankton biomass expressed as mg m-3 dry wt., was greatest during summer cruise (mean of 18.8 ± 4.6 mg m-3 dry wt.). The mean zooplankton bioma...
